If you are interested in joining our club, just show up to a practice and see how it goes or send us a DM on Instagram! Our club is all about participation. UMass Triathlon Club is open to athletes of all abilities. Our focus is on working together to help each other achieve our goals! You don't need any competitive swimming, biking, or running experience. Our team members can provide coaching and tips for you to improve. You don't need a bike!
Competition/Seasons
Our main season takes place in August, September, and October. We also compete in the Collegiate National Championships in April.
Fall Season: Northeast Collegiate Triathlon Conference Point series (NECTC)
Spring Season: USAT Collegiate Nationals
We also compete in local swim/bike/run related events as a team in between seasons.
The UMass Triathlon Club is a part of the Northeast Collegiate Triathlon Conference. We compete against many schools in the region including Penn State, MIT, BU, UVM, ARMY West Point, UConn, Northeastern, Stevens IT, Coast Guard Academy, Syracuse, Yale, Bentley, Drexel, and Harvard.
